Good to hear from you and thanks for reading my blog. Giving to pan-handlers can always be a tricky task...trying to discern what the money is going to be used for etc. In this case the guy was sincerely in need -- his whole family was. Offering him the option to eat as opposed to cash helped clarify the real need.

Yes - our lives influence our kids and I&#039;m happy to hear that Abbey&#039;s experience influenced you to help your boys to grasp generosity for the poor. PEACE!</description>

I do, however, appreciate the opportunity to help the boys understand the importance of helping others. I will keep in mind offering to buy food when we have time.</description>
