Family Vaca!

Zeek Chillin in Back Seat
All five of us, I mean six of us crammed into the family sedan and off we went on our annual family vacation. Ten hours later and six hundred miles added to the odometer we arrived at Deep Creek Lake, MD. After enjoying 7 days of fresh mountain air, great fishing, sleeping in, and unfettered calorie intake (good food & plenty of it), I began to realize that the best part of vacation is the memories of time together as family. I have many fond memories of this vacation but I will particularily recall the joy of seeing ZEEK (our handsome Lab) laying across the laps of the three girls in the back seat…hair shedding, tongue hanging, uncertain where we were taking him but happy and satisfied to be with the pack.

Looks like a great time P. John! Cool to see Zeek enjoying the trip; our dog Samantha went with us on many (including one to NYC where she tasted NY style pizza and Niagra Falls where she thought the falls was one gigantic toilet) and you’re absolutely right, they love being with the pack. Blessings and glad to see you got back safely!

Thanks honey for driving 10 hours to Maryland and 10 hours back home…I truly feel like a real princess. I figured you would rather drive than serve as a lap for Zeek’s hair and drool…love ya! Da wife
